The SeaI/O-530M-OEM is a high-performance RS-485 Modbus RTU-compatible I/O module featuring 16 optically isolated inputs and 16 open-collector outputs. It is ideal for embedded and OEM use where space and rugged functionality are essential.
Each input supports 5–30VDC signals and includes isolation to protect your control system from industrial noise, voltage spikes, and ground loops. The open-collector outputs provide high-current sinking and are equipped with built-in flyback diodes to safely drive inductive loads such as motors or relays.
Inputs are divided into four-bit groups sharing a common terminal, while outputs are grouped in eight-bit ports. This segmentation enables organized and flexible field wiring. The unit draws power from a 9–30VDC source and supports connectivity via removable terminal blocks.
Users can communicate with the device using the Modbus RTU protocol or Sealevel’s SeaMAX API software for integration with Windows and Linux-based control applications. Its modular design allows seamless expansion by daisy-chaining up to 246 additional SeaI/O N-series modules.
